Water
Water intended for human consumption
Nowadays adsorption on ACTIVATED CARBON is the most used and effective technology for water purification. The activated carbon ensures an efficient and economical process for the removal of dissolved organic pollutants deriving from human, agricultural and industrial activities, of humic acids, odours, unpleasant flavours and traces of disinfectants and oxidising agents, as well as toxic side products.
All our products are in accordance with the UNI ISO EN standards that establish the purity parameters and the chemical and physical properties of the filtering materials.
The table hereunder illustrates synthetically the product to be used according to the needs. To use a product that targets your needs: our technical and commercial services are completely available to you for any suggestion.

Waste waters.
The purification of waste waters takes an increasing to reduce the environmental the urban impact in establishments and in the industrial, agricultural and food-producing activities.
Adsorption on activated carbon represents the technology that is best integrated with up-to-date treatments allowing for the removal of dissolved pollutants that could not be removed easily by other ways.
Powder activated carbon in directly dosed into the reaction tanks of the treatments plants, either physical-chemical or biological active sludge types, allowing for an optimal management of the process.
Filtration on granular activated carbon can also be used as a final treatment, to obtain a water that can be reovered as proces water.

Process waters and condensates
Present-day technologies for purifying water, together with adsorption on activated carbon and filtration on specific granular filtering media, permit the selective elimination of the dissolved pollutants and of the residues of oxidizing agents and chemical disinfectants used for controlling the biological pollutants.
The employment of technologically advanced turbines and boilers, with ever greater efficiency demands the use of increasingly pure feed waters and quite severe limits on the organic and inorganic content. In particular the use of very pure feed waters, almost totally free from Silica is required for high-pressure boilers.
For these applications we have available a range of granular Active carbons and granular filtering media capable of ensuring an efficacious elimination of all pollutants, without altering the conductivity and the silica content of the treated water.
