MOLECULAR SIEVES

Comelt treats a wide variety of MOLECULAR SIEVES, mainly aluminosilicates. Due to their kinetic properties, combined with a uniform pore volume and high surface area, molecular sieves are responsible for selective mechanisms of separation and adsorption, being therefore suitable for several applications such as, for instance, drying processes, oxigen production and oxigen/hydrogen separation in the air.

CARBON MOLECULAR SIEVES

CARBON MOLECULAR SIEVES are successfully used in  PSA treatments ( Pressure Swing Adsorption), i.e. in specific activities such as nitrogen production, biogas treatment or hydrogen production. Comelt also deals with coconut mats for fixing the upper part of CMS adsorbing bed, therefore ensuring stability also in case of pressure loads of changing characteristics of the gas stream that is to be treated.

SILICA GEL

SILICA GEL is particularly recommended in gas and compressed air drying, being characterized by remarkable capacities in terms of acid resistance, energy saving combined with excellent drying properties. Ideal operational temperature is around 150 °C.  SILICA GEL is available both in granular and spherical shape.
